Mission

To promote social responsibility and community giveback through athletes in North America.

Its our mission to be an invaluable resource to all athletes, their parents, sports organizations and communities at large.

We are here to assist athletes in learning life skills through participation in community giveback that in turn will increase their self-confidence, promote responsibility, independence and overall help them build strong character.

About us

The W20 Foundation started in 2007 by retired NHL Hockey player, Steve Webb with an initial outreach to provide young student ice hockey players the ability to receive partial educational scholarships. These scholarships were designed to bring forth the presence of new possibilities for the Long Island Youth Hockey Community.

The organization has grown each year, both in size and scope. What started as a small project has now grown to expand our focus and outreach.

The W20 Foundation is proud to present "Team Up 4 Community." Athletes are important influential agents of change, not only in schools but in their communities at large. By showcasing the community give back that athletes provide we can inspire more people and organizations to give back.

Team Up 4 Community's website and outreach highlights the community service that all Athletes contribute, gives Organizations ideas about what they can do to contribute to their communities, encourages greater participation from our youth and creates a sense of feeling good about giving back and being recognized.

Every year, many of our participants and donors tell us that a highlight of the organization is getting to meet many great athletes that inspire them in their life. Along with the media attention our foundation has received each year, this has been one of the main reasons why the mission has grown to help assist all athletes, their parents, sports organizations and communities at large throughout North America and their respective communities through the power of social responsibility.

The only way we can solve the increasingly challenging problems that our youth face today is if every generation grows up more socially responsible than the last.
